We are seeking a
Business Development Representative - Metrology to join our
Metrology Team.

This position will be responsible for prospecting identified key-decision makers, clearly communicating Company's value proposition, uncovering potential opportunities, and ultimately securing business meetings for the Sales team.


The CAD MicroSolutions Metrology groups works with industry leading products including GOM Metrology Systems, Z&F Scanning Solutions, GeoMagic for SolidWorks, CheckMate for SolidWorks and GloveFit Systems.

These solutions change the way companies run their manufacturing, quality control processes and directly impact their business

This job will a hybrid role of office/home and customer facing activities. We often work out of both Toronto and Cambridge offices, so transportation between these facilities will be required. Additional travel to trade shows or customer visits may be required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explain sales offers, services and benefits to prospective and existing customers based on call scripts, including handling objections effectively.
  • Secure meetings, event and subscription signups, and other actions from prospective and existing customers.
  • Maintain Company database (CRM/VRC) and lead generation activity records with accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION

  • Previous sales experience in Metrology is considered an asset
  • Strong selling, customer service, communication, persuasiveness, and negotiation skills
  • Able to respond effectively to multiple priorities and execute in a dynamic, fastpaced work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Teamplayer attitude
  • Selfmotivated
  • Must possess a vehicle and have a valid drivers license

EDUCATION
Post-secondary education, University/College degree/diploma within a related discipline or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 12 years related sales and industry experience
