The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day activities of HR Operations across the organization. This role provides a wide range of tactical HR support to an assigned client group.

In collaboration with HR Business Partner(s) and HR Manager(s), the HRC provides tactical management of an employee life cycle activities including:
Onboarding, Benefits Enrolment, Internal Transfers, Employee Leaves, Retirement and Employee Departure processing and Offboarding. The HRC strives for service excellence with internal customers and acts as an ambassador of the HR Function.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supports the execution of HR activities for a specific client group including, but not limited to, Talent Cycles (Performance Management, Succession Planning, Compensation and Workforce Planning), service awards and retirements.
  • Collaborate with internal HR functional areas (i.e. Talent Management, Employee Services, Payroll & Benefits and Compensation) to provide service to the HR Business Partner with the consistent delivery of HR Programs to client groups with the objective to drive consistency throughout transactional HR activities.
  • Facilitate regular data integrity audits in accordance with the HR data integrity audit process.
  • Responsible for ensuring client HR service satisfaction managing and resolving clients' inquiries/requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responsible for supporting the management of Employee Files by ensuring all documents related to an employee file are entered into our Employee Record Management System (current paper files, future state digital files). Act as the administrator for Employee Files for assigned client group(s) and ensure all transactions in Workday for employees are processed in a timely fashion (i.e job profile assignment, compensation and organizational changes, etc.).
  • Prepare reporting and analytics using Workday and other relevant systems to support HR Partners in the delivery of strategic HR services to leaders across the organization. Responsible for generating monthly analytic stewardship reports (i.e. Workforce Plan, Headcount, Employee Leaves, Attrition, Incident reports (i.e. recruitment activities and ad hoc reports).
  • Manage the HR monthly stewardship/dashboard reporting (i.e. attrition, recruitment activities, employee leaves, headcount/workforce planning, learning & development activities, Performance Management, PMDs).
  • Participate in HR projects and quality improvement initiatives (i.e. HR process standardization, Employee Field Banquets, Service Award celebrations, retirement celebrations, employee surveys, HR calendar events/milestones, MVP)
  • Collaborate across HR with Business Partners, HR Managers/Directors, other HR Coordinators, HR Functional areas (Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Services, Payroll & Benefits, and Operations) and/or Corporate line managers and employees as necessary.

Your Skills:

  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills with high degree of thoroughness and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize duties/projects, multitask, and work independently in a fastpaced environment with constant demands
  • Basic understanding of Talent Cycles (i.e. Performance Management, Compensation, Succession Planning, Workforce Planning)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and foster strong working relationships; strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take initiative and follow through with projects and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates a genuine positive and helpful attitude
  • Strong attention to detail, and able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality

Your Experience:

  • 23 years of HR experience
  • Basic understanding of HR programs, policies and practices
  • Strong knowledge of the Workday HRIS and processes
