    In the role of Senior Communications Officer, you will be a part of the Cabinet Communications team within the Department of Executive & Indigenous Affairs.

    In this pivotal role, you will guide strategic communication initiatives and serve as a part of the communications team advising Ministers, shaping political communications, engaging with media relations and supporting issues and crisis management.

    This position offers a unique opportunity to influence and contribute to high-level decision-making processes directly impacting residents and stakeholders.

    Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by: The Senior Communications Advisor will have the theoretical knowledge typically obtained with a degree in communications, public relations, political science, public administration or a relevant field, and five to seven years of progressive communications experience.

    Communications experience within the GNWT, or experience in management positions, is considered an asset.
