Description

Key Responsibilities


Under the direction of the Access to Information Supervisor, processes requests for information including criminal record disclosures andregisters, photographs, and fingerprints individuals ensuring excellent customer services and adherence to legislation and policy.

(1) Receives general public for fingerprinting and for requests for information concerning their criminal record. Accepts payment, issuesreceipts and maintains a log.

(4) Seals appropriate convictions on approved pardons and submits requests to Ottawa for removal of non-conviction records.

(5) Other related duties as required.


Competencies
(1) Efficient typist (50 wpm). Word Processing and computer knowledge with previous experience in an office environment.

(2) Grade 12 or Grade 12 equivalent and fully competent in the use of the English language.

(3) Certificate or diploma in Office Education from a recognized educational institution or equivalent.

(4)

Customer Service:
Experience in customer service with the demonstrated ability to deal with persons in efficient and professionalmanner. Excellent communication skills.

(5) Ability to work in a team environment

(7) Ability to organize and prioritize work to respond to high demand and high degree of accuracy.

(8) Ability to analyze a situation based on policy and standards and make decisions accordingly.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$56,011.00-$67,286.00 per year
