The Role

We are looking for you as our new Investor Relations Specialist The Investor Relations Specialist is a contributor to the Investor Relations team and to the wider Group Finance & Administration team.

In this role you will manage the two-way communication with new and existing shareholders of Blue Pearl Mortgage Investment Corporation and Blue Pearl Quick Loans.

You will help to manage the relationship with investors and voice the management and board's strategy. The position is on-site and based in Surrey, BC,reporting to the CEO and Head of Investor Relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and deliver on client service activities of the firm as a collaborative team member of the Investor Relations team
• Prepare responses to investor inquiries while ensuring quality and consistency of responses
• Manage the preparation and dissemination of external communication materials
• Maintain and manage the client relationship management database
• Work alongside senior leadership to assist with special projects as they arise

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 23 years of investor relations experience
• Exempt Markets Dealer course completed or Canadian securities Course is an asset
• Degree in finance and communications is an asset
• Energetic and straightforward professional who is eager to learn
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Suite knowledge (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to visualize data
• Proactive team player but can also work independently
• Fluency in English any other language is an advantage
• Excellent communication and sales skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Ability to build trust and credibility with external and internal stakeholders
• Highly structured and organized; strong attention to detail
