Summary
Radiant Pro Systems is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the implementation of Oracle/Cerner Millennium solutions at one of our healthcare clients in BC.
The Project Manager will work closely with the project team, other project managers, and vendor to build, manage, and status on the work effort during the implementation.
This role is expected to work up to 37.5 hours a week and be primarily remoteServices Required
Client is seeking the services of a Senior Project Manager to collaborate with other stakeholders including Health Authorities and external vendors.
- Develop/Manage project plans (budget, schedule, risk, etc) with input from Project Team Members and other stakeholders
- Facilitate/coordinate project communications
- Maintain and update program status reports and dashboard
- Identify and manage organizational change requirements for the project working with the clinical informatics lead
- Manage project scope change processes, and acquire approvals as required
- Manage Project Team performance of project tasks
- Control, track and report on the execution of the project plan and daytoday aspects of the project
- Control, track and report on project financials (budgeted, planned and spent)
- Control, track and report on current and forecast resource usage
- Control, track and report on issues and risks identified for the project
- Escalate significant issues that cannot be resolved by the Project Team
- Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Sponsor and Stakeholders
- Schedule and chair Project Team meetings
- Coordinate efforts and resources with various vendors
- Liaison with other project managers
- Documents all findings and recommendations
- Transition project deliverables to Operations (Production Turnover/PTO)
- Submit regular status reports to the PMO, Program Management and Program Steering Committee
- Perform project management processes as per PMO standards
- Performs other related duties as assigned
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in business, administration, project management including training and/or experience in leading and coordinating all aspects of the current projects undertaken by the program:
- At least ten (10) year's recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Must have completed at least three (3) major Oracle Cerner implementations
- Implemented Oracle Cerner in a Canadian healthcare system
- Project Management Professional designation considered an asset.
- Strong project management skills
- Working knowledge and experience with agile as well as waterfall project management concepts practices, and deliverables
- Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment is necessary
- Solid understanding of how various technologies fit together in an ecosystem to deliver services.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks
- Exceptional MS Office and MS Project skills
Job Type:
Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary:
$80.00-$90.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
