We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Automotive & Heavy-Duty Parts Specialist for our NAPA Integrated Business Solutions (IBS) Team.


NAPA OR TRACTION in-store team members take pride in providing excellent customer service and have strong knowledge of car & heavy vehicle parts.

They offer advice, support our operations, and allow us to provide our customers with everything they need to keep their Fleet operational.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide advice and guidance to customers in person and over the counter on automotive and heavyduty parts and accessories to fix fleet vehicles.
  • Utilize expertise and knowledge to recommend replacement automotive and heavyduty parts and accessories.
  • Build solid and lasting relationships with customers.
  • Offer excellent aftersales service.
  • Identify parts needed to meet customer requirements through online and book catalogues.
  • Use information sources to accurately locate the right part(s) for preventative maintenance and running repairs.
  • Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty information to customers.
  • Place orders and follow up with customers and suppliers promptly.
  • Create inventory purchase orders for nonstocking or specialorder parts, and notify the customer when received.
  • Source outofstock parts from other sources and suggest alternative and complementary products.
  • Oversee daily store operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels on shelves and in bins.
  • Execute physical inventories.
  • Report any discrepancies in stock levels.
  • Continuous learning of automotive and heavyduty products and services by training on the job and participation in educational and development programs.

Qualifications:


Preferred Education and Qualifications:

  • Automotive aftermarket and parts supply background and knowledge an asset
  • At least six months of Automotive aftermarket and heavyduty parts and procurement background and expertise or a High school diploma
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced retail environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Communication skills and priority management
  • Computerliterate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program
  • Actionoriented
  • Listening skills
  • Teamwork and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Warehouse experience and material handling equipment expertise.
