    Description

    We're looking for an experienced UX/UI designer to help shape the future of language education with us at Ellii, a growing Canadian-based EdTech company.

    About Ellii:

    Ellii is an innovative company dedicated to providing high-quality language-learning content and courseware for teachers and students worldwide. Our goal is to create a leading teaching platform that is embraced in every language classroom around the globe. We prioritize effective communication, diversity, and continuous learning. All positions are remote.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with team members to gather requirements, solve problems, and ensure project success
    • Work on all stages of the design process, from research to prototyping
    • Create designs that meet user needs and business requirements
    • Present concepts and ideas effectively
    • Contribute to a design system

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of design experience, including 2+ years in UX/UI or web design
    • Strong understanding of user-centered design, usability, and testing
    • Proficient in typography, layout, and visual design
    • Experience with tools like Figma
    • Excellent communication skills in English
    • Ability to work well in a team setting
    • Attention to detail
    • Experience with rapid iteration and agile processes
    • Ownership of project timelines and deliverables

    Additional skills:

    Experience in front-end development or willingness to learn is beneficial but not required.
