Description

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Advise and consult on a diverse range of human resource services (as noted above) in a highly responsible and confidential manner
  • Build strong relationships and networks across the firm
  • Maintain knowledge of current best practices and trends in human resources, including relevant legislation
  • Create, implement, and/or maintain company procedures, HR initiatives, and company policies
  • Provide coaching and counseling on routine employee and organizational issues or conflicts to employees and management
  • Maintain accurate company directories and complete employee records through our online HR platform
  • Promote a positive work environment through daily interactions with employees and management and through the administration of employee activities and programs
  • Coordinate regular events to promote employee engagement and participation
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding process, include scheduling, communication, and required equipment (laptops, phones, etc.)
  • Other duties as required and assigned
Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Human Resources generalist role
  • University Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • CHRP/CHRL designation an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and welldeveloped communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and address complex employee issues and exercise sound judgment in providing advice and guidance while maintaining confidentiality
  • Extensive knowledge and broad experience in all areas of human resources best practices, policies and legislative requirements
  • Superior planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to operate as a team player with mínimal supervision; selfdirected and selfmotivated
  • Proven ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of an organization
