    Description

    Position Overview

    As a Spiritual Leader at Mission House International Church, Life Centre Inc., you will play a vital role in guiding our community through spiritual and moral teachings. This permanent position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma (1-2 years).
    • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience.

    Desirable Skills

    Knowledge of additional languages such as Bini or Edo is considered an asset.

    Work Environment

    • Relocation costs are not covered by the employer.
    • Willingness to relocate is essential.
    • Work settings include a religious organization, business office, and church environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and conduct religious services.
    • Oversee office operations and volunteer staff.
    • Administer faith-based rites, including marriages and funerals.
    • Perform administrative duties for the religious community.
    • Provide spiritual and moral guidance to congregation members.
    • Plan and manage religious education programs.
    • Represent the church in humanitarian and social service initiatives.
    • Deliver sermons and promote spirituality through public speaking.

    Supervision

    Supervise a team of more than 20 individuals.

    Security Requirements

    • Confidential security clearance is mandatory.
    • Criminal record and child abuse registry checks are required.
    • Adult abuse registry and vulnerable sector checks are necessary.

    Work Conditions

    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
    • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
