Account Executive who has the talent, drive and understanding of the construction industry - someone who is looking for an opportunity to grow their sales career with a dedicated career progression path towards a senior sales role.

You will form a critical link between our company and our clients. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, you will:

  • promote our products and brand to architectural and design firms (A&D) by cultivating relationships with key individuals in the industry
- establish, develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships at all levels of assigned A&D accounts
- find innovative solutions to obstacles and challenges in meeting these needs
- collaborate with the designers and our estimating and design teams to ensure the proper design intent is quoted and drawn
- maintain a solid understanding of the workings regarding the Commercial Architectural Interiors industry
- generate and close opportunities by developing strong client relationships through a responsive, knowledgeable, and empathetic conversation with clients
- engage enthusiastically in new lead development and follow up and existing account development
- actively engage with the sales team and support corporate sales initiatives and goals
- continuously review and maintain CRM continuously work to maintain projects, contacts, and pipeline
- forecast and maintain sales dashboard and pipeline
- present issues professionally to relevant parties to resolve issues effectively
- exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and growing and maintaining long term business relationships with a results-orientated focus
- develop and maintain a detailed sales strategy for each target aimed at retention/penetration to gain targeted market share
- fill and maintain a workable pipeline by identifying winnable projects


What will you bring to the Team?
- college diploma or university degree in Sales, interior design, marketing, or equivalent years of experience
- a minimum of three (3) years of sales/customer service experience with a proven track record for achieving results.
- self-motivated, ambitious with a natural curiosity and a desire to learn, grow and develop your skillset
- ability to verbally communicate, develop and nurture lasting customer relationships
- attention to detail across product, technical and design information
- ability to deliver successful presentations tailored to the customer's needs
- excellent project and time management skills

- a passion for building relationship, a creative problem-solver with strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and nurture lasting client relationships
- ability to demonstrate resiliency in adverse situations
- well-developed organizational, negotiation and decision-making skills

- solid leadership experience gained through community involvement, student organizations, internships, or volunteering
- a team player with a positive attitude and highly motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation to visit our clients on a regular basis
