'Floater Dining Attendant'. This
full-time permanent opportunity that will be homed at our Beaverdam Commons Community located at Ave. SE. Shift Timings: 7:00am to 3:30pm or 10:30 am to 7:00pm (this is a floater role so there are no exact shift days or scheduled rotation and would require travel to support other communities)


This position reports to the Employee Coordinator and the Culinary Supervisor providing support services to the Dining Services team in the preparation and delivery of food.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Responsible to serve meals and beverages in a polite and professional manner, responsible for food preparation and clean up duties in the kitchen.
  • Responsible for the daily/weekly cleaning, cleaning and setting up the dining room and staff room
  • Completes documentation of required tasks
  • Reports any unsafe work conditions to the Community Resident Manager or designate
  • Responsible to assist with the receiving and stocking of all food, nonfood supplies, and chemicals

Desired skills:


  • Previous serving experience of at least one year
  • Flexible, willing and positive attitude
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to effectively work independently or within a team
  • High safety and hygiene standards
