As Business Analyst, you will support the execution of strategic projects related to enabling connected channel strategy.

You will work closely with a Project Manager and relevant stakeholders to focus on defining, mapping, implementing, testing & launching key milestones of a project as well as, supporting operational activities related to channel enablement.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage business requirements, user experience stories and system design reviews, to provide final approval and ensure all issues are documented and actions addressed
  • Responsible to bridge the gap between business and technology while managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Collaborate with cross functional units to align on strategy and project solution
  • Responsible to deliver key milestones in a timely manner
  • Assess and recommend scalable business and technical solutions that meet client and business requirements
  • Work with internal and external business customers to document both functional and nonfunctional requirements
  • Lead and facilitate solution development sessions to evoke effective customer feedback
  • Facilitate successful delivery of project requirements to meet client specification
  • Complete and document any process mapping and process redesign/improvement opportunities
  • Effectively manage customer expectations in solution development
  • Contribute in the development of quality test plans and participate in testing processes
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring a smooth transition from Project to Support with necessary documentation
  • Outline and administer requisite training when needed and ensure training needs for new projects are available
  • Support channel operational activities

Competencies:


  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or equivalent education
  • 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Project Lead within IT
  • Experience working on projects or program and support key milestones (requirements, design, testing, delivery, launch, risk management, issue management, critical path identification and postnormalization)
  • Flexible to work under pressure and meet deadlines, displays high sense of urgency
  • Strong research, analytical, data collection and problem solving skills
  • Ability to be detail oriented and organized to execute activities precisely and successfully
  • Willingness to try new things, innovate and do things differently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio & project management tools
  • Formal Business Analysis training, such as IIBA certifications, would be an asset
  • Understanding of service design principles & customer centric approaches is an asset
