Graphic Designer - Alton - UW EntSoc

Description

As part of the Design team, you will have the opportunity to elevate the branding and creative direction within EntSoc. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to bring ideas to life and develop ideas that will impact the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Design marketing collateral such as event banners, stickers, clothing, business cards, and banners
• Work with the design team to create eye-catching visual graphics
• Create assets such as icons and visuals for projects
• Work with the design team to create a defined illustration style

We are looking for a VP Design, Graphic Designers and Project Designers who can show us that they have:

• 2+ years of direct work or volunteer experience as a graphic and/or visual designer
• Intermediate knowledge in the use of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledgeable in the latest design trends, methods, and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of online optimization best practices
• Strong knowledge of printing/publishing procedures and standards
• A great communicator and story-teller
• Comfortable with iterative design with detailed discussion
• Takes initiative and values open communication
