    What is the opportunity?

    This role supports our Emerging clients and ensures client success through periodic engagement and exceptional service. The incumbent must build strong relationships with key decision makers within client relationships and across the broader RBC Investor Services (IS) sales, operations, product, compliance teams critical to the end-to-end client lifecycle. In addition, this role will be responsible for the Digital Adoption of their clients and for finding creative ways to increase this digital adoption. With a consultative, solutions orientated approach; they will be expected to demonstrate initiative, energy, and superior execution in growing and maintaining their assigned relationships.

    What will you do?

    • Own the client strategy, and overall quality of engagement with client
    • Ensure deeper connectivity at client's executive, management and operational levels
    • Fully understand client requirements and strategic direction and growth opportunities
    • Take the lead on all commercial and legal contract discussions / negotiations / administration including RFPs/RFIs
    • Actively take part in industry events, representing and promoting RBC IS as a key player in the Canadian custodian landscape.
    • Lead on Strategic Relationship Reviews Yearly/Annually
    • Lead and ownership of semi annual/annual Service Review Prep and Execution including distribution of Service Level Standards Scorecards
    • Identification of Cross Sell/Upsell Opportunities and refer where appropriate to the business development team
    • Maintain up to date and accurate MCV client profiles including at risk, relationship status, contact and deal information
    • Conduct a gap assessment to identify client specific opportunities to improve digital adoption
    • Analytics of client data to drive improved experience and improved financial results
    • Creation and distribution of client call reports covering key strategic discussions and escalations

    What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have

    • 6-10 years of work experience within the Asset Servicing or Asset Management space
    • Experience in account management and interacting with senior level decision makers
    • Bachelor's degree in related field of finance or business
    • Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are required
    • Requires fluency in French and English to serve our clients in the community with English speaking needs. Note: For Ontario based candidates being fluent in French is nice to have.
