Client Services Coordinator


The ALS Society of Alberta is a charitable organization whose mission is to make each day the best possible day for people living with and affected by ALS in Alberta.

This is achieved by providing support, facilitating the provision of care, promoting awareness, helping to find a cure, and advocating for change.

Reporting to the Team Lead of Client Services, the Client Services Coordinator will provide support for clients living with ALS in Northern Alberta, along with their families and loved ones.


The Client Services Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing a caseload and providing support to clients and their loved ones affected by ALS.

This position works closely with other allied health care providers to assist people affected by ALS to access appropriate supports and services, provide information about ALS, organize, and facilitate support groups, maintain ongoing contact with the client and their loved ones, provide support through their changing needs, and educate other service providers about ALS.

Travel may be required.


EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:


POSITION DETAILS & COMPENSATION:

This full-time, 35 hours/week salaried position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

The position offers a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, and requires the ability to reliably commute to the Edmonton office and to accommodate client home visits.
