    Job Summary


    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Liaison Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert mental health care to patients in the Emergency Department.



    Key Responsibilities:



    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with mental health concerns, including substance abuse issues;

    • Collaborate with ED physicians to develop treatment plans, discharge and transfer plans;

    • Liaise with community services and hospital teams to access resources and advocate for patients;

    • Support behavioral management of patients in the ED, including pharmaceutical/physical/environmental restraint of aggressive patients;
