Job Description:


The Manager, Enterprise Solutions, Microsoft works with the College's Directors, Academic Deans, Departmental Managers, the Students' Association and the Registrar to develop and support technology systems required to meet the College's Information Technology Services vision and strategy.

- The incumbent also works with College Deans, Directors, Chairs, Managers and other stakeholders to manage the portfolio for the platform to ensure that the development and support activities are aligned with the College's and the client's business and strategic objectives.


The Manager, Enterprise Solutions, Microsoft develops and manages the M365 groups $2M+ budget which includes both operating and capital expenditures and ensures that resource allocation is in-line with College priorities.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) year or four (4) year Bachelor's degree or diploma in the area of Business, Computer Science or a relevant combination of education and experience;
  • ITIL Foundations or Project Management Professional (PMP) or M365 Solutions Architect (or any other M365 Architect designation);
  • A minimum of nine (9) years' experience is required in IT or Business leadership position overseeing teams that support enterprise business systems, preferably commercial enterprise systems environment:
  • Experience in working with Enterprise Information Management Systems (e.g. Microsoft 365, Workday, Adaptive Planning, Student Information System, PowerBI and Salesforce);-
  • Experience in managing business analysis and development, including financial analysis, management and development of Management Information Systems, with preference for experience in providing integrated information support to medium-sized corporation executives and users;
  • Strong understanding of the project management lifecycle in addition to strong project management skills;
  • Experience in a Post-Secondary Educational Institution preferred;
  • Experience in managing staff, operations and capital budgets over $2M annually;
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively with management, peers, staff, and other stakeholders;
  • Experience coordinating, working with and presenting to upper management and senior executives;
  • Experience in developing and providing presentations to senior executives about technical service delivery strategies, issues, and options;
  • Ability to work collaboratively, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
  • Experience leading teams and managing deliverables in a matrixed and contracted environment;
  • Experience delivering automation solutions combined with business process improvement initiatives;
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills. Able to communicate well at varying levels of the College's hierarchy including at the VP level;
  • Strong process engineering/design skills;
  • Strong information management skills.
