One of our automotive clients is looking for aQuality Supervisor in
Aurora, ON **location for their facility.

Days
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the Quality System for all services, materials, products, parts, and components produced not only meets but exceeds the expectations of both customers and the company.
Ensure that all new processes and changes to existing processes are capable of meeting the expectations of both customers and the company.
Address product problems directly with customers, investigating substandard results and conducting research on product defects to make recommendations for changes in materials or processes.
Address advanced quality issues and programs with customers and engineering, providing direction as needed.
Attend meetings as per customer requests and translate requirements into plant systems and procedures.
Review inspection reports and Statistical Process Control (SPC) reports from production operators and quality technicians.
Compile monthly reports on performance indicators and forward them to the plant manager for review.
Oversee layouts and inspection checks on engineering fixtures.
Develop and facilitate Advanced Quality Planning training for operators, inspectors, and management as required.
Review all Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents submitted by suppliers for final approval.
Assist with the design of experiments to determine parameters affecting the end product and recommend solutions.
Conduct customer on-site visits as required to evaluate situations and recommend resolutions.
Participate in Quality System audits and offer expertise and direction during the process.
Maintain compliance with Quality System requirements by ensuring employees follow established processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a Quality department, along with prior supervisory experience.
A comprehensive understanding of Quality Systems, ISO9001 quality systems, and the relationship with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
General familiarity with inspection equipment such as high gauges, verniers, calipers, micrometers, shadow grams, etc., that aids in the part inspection process.
Understanding of 5S requirements, Quality tools, and Continuous Improvement methodology.
