Business Development Representative

Downtown Toronto:
Hybrid & Flexible Work environment

This is a 6 month contract with the opportunity to go full time after a successful first 6 months


tilr has built a skill-based solution that helps companies deliver learning and development programs that unlock the true potential of each individual on the team.

Our platform is low touch for HR and Operations teams allowing them to easily deliver a strategic L&D program that grows the company and its people together.


We are looking for a Business Development Representative who will create new business opportunities by reaching out to prospective customers to build relationships with them.

If you have had previous experience qualifying and developing leads and meeting quotas this could be the role for you Bonus points if you have worked in HR tech before.

Responsibilities

  • Learn tilr's product and value proposition inside and out
  • Identify customer needs and introduce them to the tilr platform
  • Book discovery meetings to evaluate and qualify prospects
  • Assist leadership on evolving messaging and contribute to pipeline growth strategies
  • Manage CRM data by consistently updating account information
  • Participate in and lead demos
  • Relay customer feedback to product to help improve the overall product direction

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • At least one year of professional working experience in a customer facing role, ideally in a targetbased environment
  • Selfstarter with a desire to grow, learn and excel in this role
  • Interest in HRtech and SaaS

Bonus Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Hubspot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • 13 years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Knowledge of MEDDICC
