The Role:

As a member of the PepsiCo Foods Canada Communications Team (aka #thebestteamever), we'll make you feel right at home on day one.

That means you'll play a critical support role in day-to-day writing and storytelling for internal and external audiences, and support the many Internal Communications, Community Relations, Brand Communications, and Corporate Reputation efforts our team leads.

Responsibilities:

What you'll be working on:

We're looking for someone who is a strong, confident writer that can hit the ground running Our team is an integral part of the business so a strong self-starter, who can masterfully juggle multiple projects and own their work, but who knows when to raise their hand and ask smart questions is a must.

The newest member of #thebestteamever has completed a degree or post graduate program in Public Relations or Corporate Communications, has at least two years of experience and can't wait to wrap their arms around a broad and challenging (in the best way) scope of work.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Mississauga Headquarters.

Does this sound like you?

You have at least two years of work experience in communications (agency, corporate, nonprofit)
A strong writer who can quickly develop creative, breakthrough copy.
A quick learner who thinks on their feet and can quickly adapt to change.
Media relations skills, including strategic planning and the ability to storymine and pitch reporters.
Outstanding organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and typos are your nemesis.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (because we like to work hard and have fun)
Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite.
Knowledge of Canadian Consumer Packaged Goods industry an asset.
Comfortable learning new webbased content publishing software.
