***This position will involve a variety of electronic, optical, and mechanical assembly tasks, as well as quality assurance and systems testing. The position is ideally suited to graduates of engineering technology programs with a focus in electronics, industrial automation, instrumentation, robotics, or systems integration work.

Responsibilities
- Build mixed electrical, optical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform quality assurance testing on completed equipment.
- Check order documentation for accuracy, and create outbound shipment documents.
- Maintain accurate records of the production and quality assurance process.
- Assist with inventory recordkeeping and verification.
- Design, build, test, and use custom diagnostic and quality control tools.
- Keep production and logistics spaces clean and wellorganized.
Successful applicants will require the following qualifications & qualities
- Postsecondary diploma in electronics, industrial automation, or a related engineering technology field is required.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical technical drawings, and to build basic electronic circuits from schematics.
- Experience with wiring, soldering, and standard electrical test equipment.
- Ability to lift 20 kg / 45 lb packages.
- Ability to conduct telephone & inperson conversations in a professional manner.
- Detailoriented worker able to perform precision tasks independently.
