Position Summary

:

The primary focus for the Manager, Business Operations Analytics role is on leveraging data analysis to monitor and improve the performance of the Walmart Connect retail media business.

The role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to assess the health of the business, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic decision-making.

Through expertise in data-driven insights, the individual will play a key role in performance monitoring & reporting, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of business operations to ensure overall success of the organization.

What you'll do
:

Data Analysis

Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to collect, organize and interpret data related to business operations.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
Conduct adhoc analysis and deep dives into specific areas of business operations to address immediate concerns or support strategic initiatives.

2) Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to monitor the performance of operational processes and identify opportunities to drive organizational efficiencies.
Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to provide insights into the overall health and performance of the business to leadership and stakeholders at all levels.
Create visually appealing and informative data visualizations such as charts, graphs, and heatmaps to effectively communicate findings and trends.
Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.

3) Forecasting and Predictive Analytics

Utilize statistical modeling and predictive analytics to forecast capacity requirements, future performance and anticipate potential challenges or opportunities.
Assess the organization's capacity to meet demand.
Analyze resource allocation and utilization across teams to identify bottlenecks or excess capacity.

4) Strategic Recommendations & Continuous Improvement

Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to drive operational efficiencies, optimize workflows, and enhance business outcomes.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process enhancements and ensure continuous improvement in business operations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
Proven experience in data analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting within a business operations context.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Experience with stakeholder management at all levels.
Familiarity with statistical modeling, forecasting techniques, and predictive analysis
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Certification in data analysis, business intelligence, or related areas
Experience working in the Retail Media industry ‎
