Responsible for the maintenance of the Core Fibre Optic Transport System
Up keeping of the Local and long distance exchange switches
Testing and maintenance of various 48V Battery Plants
Installation and maintenance on PBX and Key Systems
Work on various Mobile Radio
Performs minor building maintenance
Installs communications equipment, customer demarcations, Cat 5 runs, fiber optic and various other equipment
Network equipment device maintenance on core routers, Cisco,Calix, Transmode

Qualifications:

Postsecondary degree/diploma in Electronics Engineering, or other communications based diploma, or equivalent experience in the Telecommunications field
Basic IP Knowledge
Excellent customer service skills
Basic knowledge computer skills (Ms Office)
Aptitude for learning telephone technology
Ability to work with mínimal supervision
Strong personal communication skills
Must not be colour blind
Must possess a valid class "G" driver's license
Mechanically inclined would be an asset
Bilingualism, English and French is an asset
