ABOUT THE ROLE:

Planning, forecasting, and allocating product are the crucial first steps in the product's journey to our clients.

It takes analytical, strategic, and results-driven inventory management professionals to build our brand partnerships, forecast client behaviors and optimize inventory levels across our network.

Operations and logistics complete the products' journey into our clients' hands.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Review and action In-Stocks to ensure healthy position for Core and Newness (SKU/Store level). Consult Planner to ensure appropriate WOS levels, work with brands on ETA for back instock and communicate to leader
  • Track Core & Newness purchase orders to ensure timely receiving of inventory to all Canadian DCs & Stores to meet the business needs. Close PO's on a regular basis to ensure inventory captured in replenishment
  • Analyze newness/launch performance and seasonality, adjusting forecasts, receipts, inventory levels as needed to drive business
  • Handle regular replenishment forecasts and orders; responsible for ordering within OTB Receipt Budget
  • Lead and coordinate allocations with analytical insights that support sales performance
  • Build manual PO as needed (i.e., newness, new stores, adhoc Promotional support POs)
  • Provide access to fill rates with Planner and Brands partners
  • Communicate and elevate late key launches to Planner and Merchant focused on inventory strategy
  • Ensure timely receiving of inventory for Newness launches, Animation, Promotional events, and communicate if risk to business
  • Set up newness in Blue Yonder (JDA) for accurate purchasing and allocation of inventory
  • Generate reporting on vendor/brand fill rates and lead time accuracy
  • Validate productive assortment and recommendations of presentation quantity, items to discontinue, and items to develop, within new efficiency guidelines and Merchandising Team
  • Report updated business trends and stock continuity weekly
  • Conduct Newness hindsight and key initiative's analysis on a season basis
  • Additional projects as required

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Technically savvy and have advanced Excel skills
  • A passion for solving problems and using your analytical skills to find solutions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills that allow you to balance multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A love for product and experience in the beauty industry would be a plus
  • Prior retail experience considered an asset
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fastpaced and dynamic environment, with an interest in working collaboratively with crossfunctional groups
