The Sr Functional Analyst for Canada Operations (SCM/TM) is responsible for the Design and coordinating with the technical consultants of all SCM & TM SAP S4 Hana.

This includes, SAP EWM & SAP TM and EDI.


The position is responsible for effectively translating Business Requirements for SCM and TM from the stakeholders into technical requirements understandable by the technical team.

The position is also responsible for roadmap definition in collaboration with their team, leading discussions in technology architecture decisions and ensuring proper support of existing strategic and legacy systems by collaborating with our support partner.

The position involves coordinating medium and large projects and vendor management within the program, as well as creating stakeholder communications and facilitating change management with the user community.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to gather business requirements and efficiently translating them into a working technical solution with mínimal to no rework.
  • Partners with the user community to communicate goals, objectives, and potential outcomes. Be a change agent.
  • Leads regular interactions with the project teams to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the project outcome.
  • Leads Agile and Waterfall projects, acts as a leader of a diverse team of both Agropur resources and contractors.
  • Plays a leadership role in developing the roadmap for Technology in areas of responsibility.
  • Acts as an advisor and builds and maintains relationships across the wider stakeholder community.
  • In partnership and aligned with enterprise PMO, manages small projects in accordance to existing best practices
  • Supports and facilitates agenda setting for regular project review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Certification (PMP, Agile) strongly recommended
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • 5+ years of experience with the SAP Platform, specializing in SCM/TM/EDI
  • Demonstrated working experience in developing partnership between business and technology areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating among senior leadership.
  • Experience in Oracle EBS and Oracle OTM would be considered an asset
