Description

We are currently looking for a Team Lead to support our new operation: put away, at a position located in Markham, ON.

TeamLead will be fully responsible for the safe, high-quality, and productive put-away operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Follow programs implemented to ensure the efficient and costeffective operation and utilization of the facility.
  • Oversee the department performance, including daily KPI monitoring and ensure it has been processed. Act as a liaison between Management and frontline employees;
  • Complete multiple leadership and direct labour tasks with mínimal supervision.
  • Comply with all Health / Safety / Security programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property.
  • Ensure adequate training of staff. Keep teams up to date with daily operational issues, priorities, and tasks
  • Train new hires and casual laborers
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • At least 2 years of working experience in a warehouse environment
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Forklift licence as an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$19.00-$20.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
