As the Program Manager, Employee Experience, you support the talent lifecycle, inclusive of employee onboarding, performance management, talent reviews, engagement through project management support, "just-in-time" training, and partnerships with key stakeholders (e.g., People & Culture, Communications) to enable our Lightspeeders to drive Lightspeed's strategic objectives and hypergrowth.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent & Capability, you partner closely with colleagues within and outside your immediate team to ensure global talent management initiatives are executed optimally.

You also own the Employee Onboarding Experience program, ensuring its successful execution and identification of any continuous improvements.

Success in this role requires a detail-oriented person with a demonstrated background and understanding of talent management, human resources, and project management.


What you'll be doing:


  • Provide project management support on all global Talent Management initiatives (e.g., Annual Talent Cycle, Employee Onboarding Experience, Engagement and Inclusion Survey), ensuring stakeholders are held accountable to their respective deliverables.
  • Own the Employee Onboarding Experience program to ensure a "bestinclass" onboarding experience for our Lightspeed new hires.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the People & Culture (P&C) team, specifically the People Business Partner (PBP) and the Operations and Systems teams, as well as with the Communications team to drive design and execution of global Talent Management initiatives.
  • Partner with P&C Operations and Systems colleagues to design and test Talent Management initiatives within Workday.
  • With guidance, assess and design Talent Management resources (e.g., "justintime" PBP training, leader guides, relevant curated LinkedIn Learning) to enable PBPs to effectively support their respective leaders for global Talent Management initiatives.
  • Partner internally with the Talent & Capability (T&C) team to ensure alignment to the Learning & Development, Organizational Development, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion strategies and initiatives as well as request support as needed.
  • Identify and report evaluation and success metrics for global Talent Management initiatives and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and share latest knowledge of best practices in Talent Management.

What you'll be bringing:


  • Bachelor's in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Business, or related discipline.
  • At least 13+ years of experience as a human resources professional.
  • Direct experience supporting global talent management initiatives (e.g., employee onboarding, performance management, talent reviews, engagement surveys).

  • Experience with Workday or similar HR Information System preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage largescale programs from beginning to end, ensuring accountability across all key stakeholders.
  • Relationshipfocused and a team player, leaning in to ensure team success while also building effective working relationships with people at all levels of the organization both within and outside the People & Culture team.
  • Strong communication skills
- both verbal and written.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality based on development of clientready deliverables.
  • Strong problem solving skills with ability to proactively identify recommendations.
  • Experience developing, influencing and implementing measurable, scalable, and innovative learning solutions.
