About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a
Regular full-time
Client Support Analyst III to join our dynamic
IT Infrastructure Operations & Delivery team.

In this role, you will provide service and support for Canadian Blood Services Computer Systems across Canada.

Service and support also comprise the reception and recording of an Information Technology problem or request, as well as the primary troubleshooting, diagnosis and third level resolution.

You will also be responsible for Office 365 administration, SharePoint administration, MS Exchange administration; Outage Coordinator role, Backup administration, Printer administration, and providing End-user support and training for hardware and software and collaborating with all IT departments to ensure smooth operational support.


Responsibilities:


SharePoint administration:


  • Ensure the operational health of the SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Administration, support, and configuration of MS Office O365 for staff.

Office O365 administration:


  • Ensure functionality of one drive, including restoring lost/deleted files.
  • Providing access to other users one drive when an employee leaves the organization.

Exchange administration:


  • Create, modify, delete user, and resource mailboxes.
  • Recover deleted items in a user mailbox.

Participate in the IT Outage Coordinator rotation:

  • Coordinates planned and unplanned mission critical IT outages that impact business.
  • Evaluates and provides direction regarding outage sequences and duration.

Print and File Share Management (Print Logic, Zebra printers, DNS, DCHP Administration):

  • Deployment activity within print logic environment.
  • Modify Active Directory as needed to keep printing environment current.

General IT-End-user support and training for hardware and software:

  • Performing restores.

ITSM Support (Avanti ITSM):


  • Analyze and troubleshoot ITSM incidents.
  • Assist in fulfilling ITSM Service Request.

Education, Training and Experience:


  • Minimum three years of related experience with some experience in a senior technical support role, including Service Desk, troubleshooting software, and printing access.

Demonstrated Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong customer service skills and communication skills in English are essential.
  • Strong coaching skills to help mentor junior analysts
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • M365 Fundamentals certification is desirable.
  • A+ Certification is desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows, Servers, Microsoft Office, Office 365 Azure and general network and Internet principles is mandatory.
  • Ability to multitask is mandatory.
  • Ability and desire to learn new IT skills.
  • Ability to set own work priorities is essential and work with mínimal supervision.
