INTERMEDIATE TECHNICAL ANALYST, CSS SECURITY SYSTEMS (LENEL)
Victoria
We are seeking a Security Systems Technical Analyst to ensure the integrity of, as well as enhance, our corporate electronic security infrastructure.
This role will be responsible for optimal electronic security (CCTV / Video Management / Security Intrusion Alarm Monitoring / Access Control) system performance / configuration including the leveraging of existing electronic security infrastructure in both a proactive and a reactive context.
Electronic security system audits, regular quality assurance reviews, system programming and end-user support are all functions of this role. The provision of technical expertise consultation during system design and commissioning is pivotal. The possession of creativity, intellectual curiosity, innovation, critical thinking and knowledge is vital.This role provides:
- Experience with integrated access control security systems with a focus on providing system operators with clear and valuable information in order to assist with operational decisions.
You are an organized, systematic problem-solver with a strong ability to communicate ideas and processes aimed at enhancing work quality, performance, and productivity.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Systems or an IT related discipline from a recognized college or technical school or an equivalent combination of education, training and significant on the job experience in IP camera systems;
- Experience in video display software and video display management technologies;
- Demonstrated experience building, maintaining and supporting CSS, CCTV & Terminal Hardware environments;
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Windows operating systems;
- 35 years experience building, maintaining and providing support for largescale video display systems and IP camera (CCTV) environments in an Information Technology organization.
- Current certification in Lenel Digital Video and Access Control would be an asset.
