The Role

We are hiring a Strategy & Analytics Intern to report to the Director, Strategic Initiatives at Advisor Solutions by Purpose.

In this role, the person will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, relationship management, compliance, and data teams to support in defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring datasets are in place to begin measuring KPIs.

In this role, you will:

Define a methodology for calculating key strategic metrics, such as net new assets and net asset growth.
Prepare reports and dashboards to inform strategic decision making including trending analysis, projections, and forecasts.
Establish repeatable/automated processes to leverage existing systems and data to track and report key strategic metrics on an ongoing basis.
Partner with sales, relationship management, data, and other crossfunctional teams to design solutions and ensure ongoing implementation.

The following criteria will be key in evaluating the person:

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong Excel, SQL, or other analytical skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
Passion to improve the financial advisory experience for Canadians and help them achieve their financial objectives.
A curious, inclusive team player.
Familiarity with Zendesk or Target Process a plus.
