The opportunity:


The
Partner Development Specialist is responsible to plan and deploy an engagement and outreach strategy for the Efficiency Preferred Partner Network, Associations, and Partners for E1.

This will include planning and hosting relevant events and training for, but not limited to, Engineers, Consultants, Manufacturer's Representatives, and Contractors.

Must be an effective communicator, with excellent time management and organizational skills, and must be adaptable and results-driven.

  • Responsible for providing outreach and engagement to the Efficiency Preferred Partner Network (EPP), Associations, and other E1 Partnerships to drive participation in Efficiency Nova Scotia programs and services.
  • Responsible for acting as concierge for Partners to navigate Efficiency Nova Scotia programs and services by understanding their business and core competencies, as well as their growth strategies and plans, to help them leverage Efficiency Nova Scotia resources.
  • Responsible for developing a partner engagement plan, providing education, and training, and attending networking opportunities to strengthen EfficiencyOne/ Efficiency Nova Scotia's reputation and raise awareness about our current and upcoming offerings.
  • Responsible for finding new partnership opportunities while maintaining current network development along with identifying opportunities for growth and improvement with the Efficiency Preferred Partner Network internally with EfficiencyOne/ Efficiency Nova Scotia and externally with target markets.
  • Expanding work with partners from diverse communities to reach underserved communities and increase program participation.
  • Responsible for collaborating with Marketing and providing input to plans, offers, and collateral related to Partners.
  • Facilitating a contractor appreciation program to ensure all contractors working with Efficiency Nova Scotia are aligned with the Preferred Partner network.
  • Perform all other duties as required.

What Will Help You Succeed?

  • A Community College or University diploma in Communications, Marketing, PR, or Businessrelated field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Knowledge and skills in businesstobusiness sales
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and challenges, with a passion to continue to develop and grow
  • Excellent client service skills (internal partners and customers) including the ability to work collaboratively or independently.

What to expect in your first several weeks on the job:

In the first week, expect to:

  • Introduction to Team and Program Managers to learn about your collaboration with program targets trends, and team goals.
  • Job shadow other teammates to learn about their roles and responsibilities.
  • Read program materials to get more familiar with Efficiency Preferred Partner Network and our tools and processes.
  • Start performing core duties.

In the first month, expect to:

  • Perform core duties with limited support.
  • Meet our Efficiency Preferred Partners and Strategic Partners.
  • Continue to learn more about industry and program demands.
  • Start identifying opportunities to support program participation through Efficiency Preferred Partner Development.

In the first three months, expect to:

  • Perform core duties independently.
  • Support Efficiency Preferred Partner Network and Programs through development and outreach.
  • Establish a performance and development plan with your manager.
