BHP's Jansen Potash Project is located near Saskatoon, SK (approximately 140 kilometers East of Saskatoon) and BHP's first and most advanced potash project and it will be the world's largest potash mine once completed. Jansen will add diversity and a Canadian presence for Canadian companies supplying goods and services for this major economic development. Jansen Stage 1 is the first of four potential phases and includes an initial investment of CAD$7.5 billion. Once Jansen Stage 1 commences production in 2026, it will generate 4.35 megatons of potash every year.
