Electrical and Instrumentation Construction Management Professional seeking to join a dynamic team? Do you have a good eye for detail? Flint Energy is seeking someone like you


You will be responsible to ensure all contractual, quality and workforce obligations are met for each project. The focus of this position is to meet client commitments and provide daily direction to Flint field operations.


Reporting directly to the District Manager you will bring a minimum 10 years' experience within a supervisory role in construction projects.

Supported by the DM and Director, E&I, will develop and implement all plans and systems needed to complete the project effectively and efficiently.


You will be based out of Calgary, AB. This is a permanent position.

What

you'll

be doing:


  • Oversee workforce planning including the development of all work scopes, shift schedules, and field work packages to execute and control all work through to a safe and efficient completion.
  • Work with General Foreman to expedite and coordinate site resources needed to effectively execute the work including subcontractors, material, construction equipment and labour.
  • Provide supervision and leadership to Flint General Foremen, Foremen, and direct field labour.
  • Ensure that field activities in the assigned territory meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule, and cost through the efficient use of all resources including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure that daily and weekly shortrange planning is maintained down to the foreman level.
  • Lead and foster a culture ensuring operational supervision is engaged with Flint's core values, policies, and processes.
  • Internal and external business development. Must demonstrate Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.

We'd

love to hear from you if you:

  • Journeyman Electrical Trade certification, or related post-secondary degree. Other education which may include business management, project management or other related technical specialties.
  • Experience in managing demand maintenance model, construction, fabrication, plant shutdowns, labor supply.
  • Demonstrate experience and successful and successful management of multiple projects with budgets of $5 $20 million, utilizing upwards of 200 craft personnel and multiple contractors.
  • Experience and ability to read and interpret Requests for Proposals including technical electrical and instrumentation drawings.
  • Utilize systems for estimating, scheduling and/or project management, including McCormick and MS Office.
  • Experience analyzing project/operational financial data and implementing performance action plans to improve operational results.
  • Technical expertise in the mechanical/piping sector including shutdown/turnaround execution, long term maintenance programs, operations coordination, equipment management, cost estimating and bid development is considered a bonus.
