    About The Team

    The North America Monetization Product Strategy & Operations team helps ensure that the US & Canadian advertisers (our clients) are inspired, excited, and empowered to partner with us to build their brands on the TikTok platform.

    We are consultative and trusted partners to the Global Business Solutions (GBS) and Product partners, driving revenue by landing products and solutions in the market, through a vertical lens.

    Are you passionate about identifying problems and identifying solutions that help clients grow their businesses? TikTok is seeking a Vertical Product Marketing Manager to join our North American Monetization Product Strategy & Operations team.

    This individual would focus on one sales vertical (for example:
    CPG, Media & . This individual will own the activation strategy & revenue for their assigned vertical. This will be a full-funnel focus.

    They will be a strategic partner to Sales leadership and Global Product Marketers in driving the go-to-market strategies and identifying customer pain points.

    They would support and be part of a best-in-class team that has an in-depth understanding of the clients, can aggressively take our current product & solutions sets to market, identify future product opportunities and gaps, and influence senior leadership across TikTok.


    Responsibilities:

    • Vertical PMM will own the activation strategy & revenue for their assigned vertical. This will be a fullfunnel focus.
    • Be focused on revenue & scaled activation and solution selling through Sales enablement.
    • Be the expert on your vertical & customer needs, with a working understanding of the entire product suite as it relates to your vertical.
    • Partnering with XFN teams to drive vertical product adoption (. Marketing Science etc)
    • Partner closely with the Sales team to deeply understand user pain points, from business requirements, and prioritize solutions to influence the direction of product development
    • Lead vertical understanding, opportunity assessment, and customer feedback and represent the vertical/market with Product teams.
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader TikTok ecosystem and competitive landscape to develop strong vertical activations with our solutions

    Required Qualifications:

    • Driven by revenue and guided by revenue in all decisions
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience in product marketing or product strategy with advertising products
    • Significant experience in a specific industry vertical (either as a salesperson, vertical product marketing manager, or another similar role)
    • Experience partnering with and influencing product teams to represent market/CPG requirements
    • Experience partnering with and influencing sales teams and developing go to market strategies

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing with CPG expertise and upper funnel brand advertising experience
    • Strong communication and case building experience
