Job Summary:


The Analyst, Digital Analytics supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytics solutions to grow analytical capabilities and ensures the integrity of reporting data.

As an analytics practitioner, the individual is a consultative partner to both internal and external stakeholders, providing education, guidance and recommendations for improvement, and for bringing new concepts and methods to the Data and Analytics Practice.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytics solutions to grow analytical capabilities and ensures the integrity of the reporting data.
  • Supports Product Owners and Development teams in gathering and understanding analytics needs and requirements. Works closely with stakeholders to build reporting assets to achieve business objectives.
  • Develops data and reporting functionality, including reports and dashboards, based on requirements. Responsible for unit, integration and regression testing.
  • Designs, develops and executes queries to access and expose data layers to be used in providing business insights.
  • Develops solutions and approaches to utilize analytics as a tool for business and market research and for reporting, predictive modeling, and forwardlooking scenarios to improve investment management and performance.
  • Collaborates with other Data and Analytics Practice teams and other members of the BCLC's Business Technology teams to support integrated data solutions.
  • Supports growing the Data and Analytics practice, fosters organizational culture, and supports all other team members. Provides training to the team on business intelligence methods, tools, design, and results, and on advanced reporting and database marketing best practices including segmentation, experimentation, core KPI development, and campaign level analysis.

Minimum Required Qualifications:


Education and Experience

  • Degree related to Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics;
  • Previous experience with sports gambling is preferred;
  • 35 years of experience in analytics, including related experience where an indepth understanding of relational databases has been gained;
  • Strong experience in business intelligence tools and data governance;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.

Technical Requirements

  • Knowledge in the areas of business analysis, business intelligence reporting, digital analytics and/or database marketing
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to work in a crossfunctional environment with all levels of management and to explain complex information in an effective manner
  • Experience in data collection, data wrangling, data engineering, data analysis and designing reporting solutions including but not limited to dash
