Part-Time and Full-Time


Salary:
$14.50 to $17.00 per hour


Start Dates:
March 6, 2023 (March Break camp) and June 26, 2023 (Summer camps)


Location:
Community YMCA and John W. Lindsay YMCA

The Opportunity


We are hiring for a number of positions to support the operation of our Day Camps at two sites, the Community YMCA and the John W Lindsay YMCA.

YMCA Day Camp staff are responsible for providing a safe, fun, inclusive environment for kids.


Responsibilities include:


  • Ensure quality, inclusive, meaningful programming for participants
  • Serve as role model and mentor for children/youth participants
  • Provide excellent customer service to participants and families
  • Complete necessary paperwork and safetyrelated tasks

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated success in plan/organize games, sports, arts, crafts, cultural activities, lead field trips, etc.
  • Demonstrated crosscultural communication skills to work with youth, parents, and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to meet multiple, competing deadlines and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation/workshop facilitation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
