    About the Opportunity

    • Planning and executing meals in compliance with established standards, procedures, recipes, and menus, including catering special meals for specific dietary needs
    • Assisting in the preparation of food for special events to ensure quality service
    • Timely reporting of recipe shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns to the Executive Chef or supervisor
    • Daily cleaning and sanitization of the cooking station and maintenance of kitchen equipment according to regulations
    • Adhering to waste management guidelines for proper disposal procedures

    About You

    • Culinary Arts Diploma and a valid Red Seal Certificate
    • Valid Food Handler's certificate
    • Experience in high-volume food preparation
    • Ability to comprehend and follow detailed recipes/instructions
    • Clear criminal record check
    • A dedication to the healthcare industry and ensuring seniors receive quality accommodations, services, and care

    How you will do it...
