You will lead teams to develop and optimize sustaining mine and tailings projects to deliver value to Fort Hills.

You will be highly integrated in this role and will use an agile approach to influence and drive decisions and outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

Eight years of experience leading crossfunctional teams
Previous development and / or mine and tailings experience
A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, geoscience, or similar field

Responsibilities:

Work with the cross functional team (CFT and ACFT) to communicate problems and opportunities and identify internal stakeholders to support
Lead an integrated team to identify and evaluate options, gain alignment, and deliver selected concepts to execution or operations and effectively mitigate risks
Develop and steward project schedules, scope, and costs, effectively communicating risks and opportunities to the ACFT with appropriate escalations if required
Develop project funding plans that align with overall capital portfolio and cost expectations

Location and other key details:

You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40hour work week, Monday to Friday
