Description

Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of equipment such as skid steers and other base equipment
• Work with mínimal supervision
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in operation of skid steers and related equipment
• Thorough knowledge of the safe operation of the equipment and municipal road building industry
• Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver's license or above with a clean drivers abstract
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends
• Valid safety certifications

Additional Information:

• This is a seasonal position and starts in spring of every year
• This position is eligible for overtime
• Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required
• Training will be provided for various activities
• We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months in which you may continue your benefits during the winter months (off season)
• Potential oncall work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season
