About the position:

The Technical Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our products and services to customers and providing technical support and guidance throughout the sales process online and over the phone.

You will be working closely with our Sales Manager to complete tasks such as:

Provide technical product knowledge including detailed answers
Create and conduct professional technical demonstrations
Staying uptodate with industry trends and internal product specifications
Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Assist with business development activities, including travel
Ownership of an end to end sales process with prospects, customers and business partners.
Collaborate with Applications Engineer to provide after sales support and initiate RMAs
Complete vendor registration requirements to close B2B sales

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Film or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Desired Qualifications:

3+ years in a technical sales role in industrial testing equipment or optical sensing equipment
Experience selling products internationally
Background with a knowledge of photography, videography, film/TV, cameras, lighting, and lenses
Detailoriented customer service and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage time and plan for followups

Perks, Compensation and Benefits:

As a full time employee, you will be compensated on a salary based on experience and skills, between $55,000 - $65,000 CAD.
