Your daily role:


In charge of talent acquisition, training and development and employee experience at Nortera, you will support your team in the deployment of strategies and develop new initiatives to ensure Nortera's success across its 15 Canadian and US sites.

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Human Resources, you will support the efforts of your team, and take direct ownership of projects specifically for engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, values and culture, and succession development.


THE ROLE:


  • Responsible for organizational development strategy and best practices across all sites;
  • Contributes to shining a light on the organizational culture by promoting organizational values, mission and vision;
  • In collaboration with the Employee Experience, Talent Acquisition and Development team members, develop and deploy programs to strengthen the employer brand, increase employee engagement and retention, and create a rewarding experience that fosters a sense of belonging for professional, administrative and operational employees;
  • Lead the overall diversity and inclusion strategy for all employee categories;
  • Act as a "leader" and consultant on diversity and inclusion for the company by providing insights and guidance on current trends, ideas and data on this area;
  • In support of your team, participate in the enrichment of talent management methods, approaches and practices;
  • Develop programs for succession and high potential development;
  • Develop initiatives for engagement and adherence to Nortera's business vision;
  • Leverage data and analytics to evaluate current programs, improve them and ensure our initiatives are having impact and achieving their goals;
  • Administer and deploy technologies and solutions that support your practices, and minimize administrative work;
  • Quickly establish credibility with the leaders and your team, providing a clear vision through your unifying and inspiring leadership.

Your profile

Ideally 15 years of experience in organizational development, ED&I and talent management/development;:


  • University degree in Human Resources (or other related field);:

Experience and ability to manage senior professionals;:


  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset;:

Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;:


  • Strong business acumen in adapting solutions to have the best possible organizational impact;:
