This position is for a Bus Driver that has at least a Class 4 Unrestricted driver's license. The position is 3 hours per day.

8:30am to 10am and 2pm to 330pm. Driver must be available for these hours Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a responsible and mature bus driver for our Before and After School Program.

Driving involves a simple route between the childcare centre and two elementary schools in the Westwood Plateau area of Coquitlam.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to and from designated locations
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high level of safety
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
• Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
• Follow established routes and schedules, while also being flexible to accommodate unexpected changes or delays

Experience:

• Previous experience as a bus driver is preferred
• Experience working with children is desirable
• Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting is beneficial

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with passengers
• Proficient in reading and understanding maps, schedules, and route information
