TSL is searching to recruit a Site Inspector (Traffic Signals and Roadway Lighting).


In this role you will:

• Monitor progress of construction work on traffic signal and/or roadway lighting projects
• Inspect, document and verify the project is constructed in conformance with contract plans and specifications
• Communicate effectively with the Contractor, Owners, Project Managers, and other field engineering staff
• Inspect traffic signal and roadway lighting installations
• Liaison with project Contract Administrators
• Coordinate with TSL designers for design changes due to unforeseen conflicts
• Conduct site visits to assess existing traffic signals and roadway lighting infrastructure
• Conduct site visits to assess existing field conditions.
• Prepare photo logs
• Prepare deficiency lists
• Prepare site visit reports

SITE INSPECTOR

• Develop new design standards
• Develop inspection reports and processes
• External training will be provided as required._

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a site inspector
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong ability to read and translate technical drawings
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
• Excelled verbal and communication skills
• Must have a G license with no criminal convictions. Must have your own vehicle for use to drive often to sites in and around the Golden Horseshoe area. Frequent visits to Toronto sites will be required. Compensation for mileage is in accordance with Ontario labour laws.
