    Description

    What you'll do:

    Reporting to the Farm Supply Manager you will be responsible to provide administrative support to Farm Supply, including keeping track of inventory levels, assisting guests with product, commodity or service orders. Your duties will include:

  • Responsible for handling guest inquiries, marketing credit products and providing service in a professional and courteous manner. Encourages sales of co-op membership and communicates current product sales and promotions to all guests.
  • Assist guests with product, commodity or service order by completing order forms and processing payment for sales made. Complete balance receipts and cash ups on a daily basis in accordance with Discovery Co-op Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensures the main office customer inquiries are responded to, files are kept and organized for transactions at Farm Supply.
  • Compile and provide information on inventory levels, product sales, prices, shipments and accounts outstanding as requested by Management. Maintain documentation to ensure compliance is current within AWSA.
  • To perform other duties as assigned
  • Who you are:

    You are looking for a career in Agriculture and Customer Service and:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years of office experience preferred
  • Co-op retail experience is an asset
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • Knowledge of Agro industry and products considered an asset.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Will be required to spend a great deal of time working in an office environment at a desk with a computer.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
