We are currently seeking a
Truck and Trailer Mechanic Apprentice to join our growing operation.

Headquartered in Etobicoke, ON, Starline Production Rentals Inc., was founded in 2000 and has grown steadily through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth.

Our resources include a fleet of over 850 specialized trucks and trailers to service the dynamic film and television industry.

Supplying custom built vehicles to accommodate actors, hair and make-up, cameras, rigging, wardrobe and more require ongoing repair and maintenance.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Must be familiar with repair and services such as electrical systems, landing gear and trailer frames, trailer bodies, suspension systems, wheels, hubs and axles, air and auxiliary systems, braking systems, and hydraulic system; procedures will be under the direct supervision of a qualified 310% mechanic/supervisor
Additionally, will support the Mobile Generators division of our business with a variety of duties such as shop clean up, inventory, oil changes, maintenance, service calls, testing and client service.
Positive & professional work attitudes
Experience working with computers
Performing scheduled maintenance service with qualified supervision
Strong communication skills

Experience & Working Conditions:

2+ years experience in the trade
Valid G Drivers LicenseExperience working with diesel and oil
Available to work a min of 40 hours per week, flexible schedule, interest in overtime opportunities
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work independently, as well in a team environment
Able to work with the physical demands of the job
Able to work outside when necessary in varying weather conditions
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Selfmotivated; eager to learn and take direction from experienced team members
Ability to work effectively under pressure
