Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse stock and a staff of 34 people; coordinate daily partpicking schedule and workflow procedure; run daily toolbox meetings and prepare Parts team for their day
- Coordinate product shipments on scheduled Dealer network trucks and/or couriers
- Ensure proper parts receiving process is followed i.e. make sure quantities are matched, back orders noted, and that products are free of damage
- Organize, and label existing and new incoming parts (ensure numbering and label consistency between Inside Arctic, Business Central, and Vendor data)
- Bring Vendor discrepancies, including missing and/or damaged product to the attention of the Procurement team
- Track product backorders and ensure the replenishment of inventory; enter preliminary purchase quote requests
- Participate in the Warehouse inventory forecasting process
- Perform cycle counts for purchase orders to be cut
- Manage and organize containment space and vessels for product stock
- Operate mobile material handling equipment [forklift and utility vehicle (Kubota)] to facilitate the transport, sorting, stacking, and palletizing of parts inventory
- Participate in interviewing and orientation processes
- Conduct employee reviews; monitor staff activities i.e. attendance, tardiness, breaks, etc.; prepare disciplinary writeups
- Foster a positive work environment by helping team members to succeed in their respective role by providing oversight, direction and support
- Develop a rapport of trust with team members so they feel comfortable to ask questions and/or for help
- Assist with teaching/training new or existing team members
- Understand and assist in enforcing safety requirements
- Keyholder responsibility; open and/or close warehouse and yard gate at the beginning and end of shift or as required
- Collaborate with multiple departments on an ongoing basis

- Able to stand for sustained durations over an eight (8) hour period
- Ability to push/pull and/or lift up to 50lbs unassisted
- Able to utilize twoway radios to maintain communication with team members
Computer Proficiency:
- Basic level MS Excel; ability to build and work a spreadsheet
- Basic familiarity with ERP systems such as Business Central, to search parts inventory and look up part numbers to initiate preliminary purchase quotes
- Internal parts inventory system maintenance (Inside Arctic) once proficient with parts
Experience
- 1 years' experience as a Parts Picker, or Shipper/Receiver + 1 to 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within a Parts/Warehousing capacity
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mobile equipment Certification i.e. forklift
- Training/education related to supply chain and logistics considered an asset but not required
Work Environment/Conditions:
- Hours of work 7:30AM4:00PM; potential for overtime
- Indoor and Outdoor; warehouse, yard, and periodic exposure to manufacturing plant; some office/desk work. Daily travel between plant and warehouse buildings on site
- Exposure to fluctuating weather/temperatures; potential exposure to inclement weather
- May be exposed to dust/particulates, varying noise levels, and possibly chemicals/fumes
Other:
- Reliable personal transportation to commute to and from work
- Own steeltoed footwear required; all other PPE provided by BFM
Salary:
From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
