We are seeking a

Marketing Manager to join our McGraw Hill team in Canada, who will manage marketing activities and the growth for select portfolios in the Higher Education market. This role will be creating and executing strategic marketing plans with goals of growing revenue, increasing digital usage, and expanding customer engagement.


Your impact on the team:

As a Marketing Manager on the McGraw Hill Canada team, you will be leading the marketing strategy and tactics to grow the Connect digital usage across select portfolios.

With high growth potential in both the Business & Economics and Science portfolios, you will be partnering with our Sales, Product, & Marketing teams, organizing events & webinars, and creating high-value content and sales enablement tools to engage Higher Education instructors at various stages of their customer journey.


Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, and collaborating with Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, and Sales teams, your work will impact revenue growth and customer engagement within the Canadian Higher Education market.


A typical day might include:


  • Organizing and executing portfolio events, building awareness of digital solutions at conferences, creating content to engage Higher Education instructors, and developing effective internal and customer facing sales enablement tools.
  • Engaging with Higher Education instructors and key decision makers to better understand customer needs, and to present McGraw Hill solutions. Supporting the Sales team including targeting top opportunities with accountbased marketing.
  • Develop deep customer insight through market research, interactions with customers, and collaboration with Sales and Product teams to inform future marketing activities.
  • Nurture instructors positive experience with Connect technology to develop McGraw Hill advocates. Collect digital success stories including quantitative and qualitative outcomes, experiences, and testimonials.
  • Conduct regular competitive pricing analysis and set national pricing for digital, print, and package product formats.
  • Collaborate and partner with Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment with portfolio goals.

We're looking for someone with:


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 3 Years of sales experience, preferably in the Higher Education industry
  • Salesforce experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, leadership, project management skills
