Description

Draglam Waste & Recycling is looking for several responsible Roll Off Drivers who will be responsible for the delivery and pick up of construction waste and building materials. Draglam Waste & Recycling Inc. provides this service to all aspects of the construction industry.

Normal business hours are Monday to Friday 6.00 am to 6.00 pm and every other Saturday 6.00 am pm. You may be required to start earlier or later as well as finishing earlier or later depending on customer/company requirements. Additional overtime hours may be requested as per business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily routine vehicle inspection.
Completes a visual inspection of container (loaded and unloaded) to ensure proper closure. Any defects are to be reported.
Tarps all loaded containers.
Records weigh bills/delivery tickets.
Safely operate truck, deliver and off-load material to customers.
Accurately tracks daily truck log sheets along with any payments.
Clean off all material debris from truck, inside and exterior of truck.
Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.
Operate Tractor Trailer according to all relevant highway/road acts.

Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education.
3-5 years related experience.
Possession of a valid DZ or AZ driver's license.
Ability to communicate in the English language (read and write) with customers, dispatch efficiently and read road maps.
General knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area.
Flexible in traveling from one yard to another when required. Having own transportation is a great asset.
