Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in the health and wellness industry.

Your meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of best practices will be key in maintaining the integrity of Herbaland's products.

You will be conducting inspections, audits, and checks to uphold quality controls standards, address customer complaints, and implement continuous improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop SOPs, and provide training to support a culture of excellence.

Please find the key responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Coordinator as follows:

Perform quality inspections and checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of quality control documents, such as batch records, testing reports, and certificates of analysis, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including R&D, production, and regulatory departments, to resolve qualityrelated issues and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control processes and ensure they align with industry best practices.
Monitor and address customer complaints, conducting investigations and implementing appropriate measures to prevent recurrence.
Stay informed about current industry trends, regulations, and advancements in quality assurance practices, and integrate them into the company's quality management system.
Conduct regular training sessions for employees on quality control procedures, GMP, and other relevant topics.
Continuously improve quality control processes by identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing relevant solutions.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of quality control activities, including records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in quality assurance and control within the food or dietary supplement industry.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards, such as Health Canada, FDA, and GMP.
Familiarity with quality management systems, document control, and SOP development.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to review and analyze quality control documents.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing quality processes and practices.
